After using microsoft office excel in class on monday i would say that yes i would definitly use microsoft excel in my classroom. It would not only help me keep up with my classes but my grades also. It makes grading so much easier because you do not have to rely on a calculater and sometimes i know that when i am using a calculater with a long stream of numbers i have the tendancy to skip numbers, if i use excel in my classroom that is less likely to happen.

The three main functions of excel is storing, calculating, and presenting information. In a class room all these things are important you have to be able to store all your students grade information in a place where you now you will not lose it. I have a bad habit of losing things when they are not all together and when you are using microsoft office excel all your grades are together and they are safe, unless you erase them by accident! As i've said about being able to calculate all your grades without skipping numbers is very important you do not want to screw up the students grades because you skipped some numbers by using a calculater instead of a spreadsheet, that would be a bad thing! And as for being able to present information you need that as well so you can show charts and graphs to your students in your classroom to help with a point your trying to make or to show a bettter example.
